Job summary

The North Texas Food Bank is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehousing functions including receiving, storing, inventory, order selecting, shipping, and quality control. The role primarily works in the produce cooler, dairy cooler, and freezer.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, order assembly, inventory accuracy, and safe operation of pallet jacks and forklifts. Shift is Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving processes including counting, sorting, order selecting, loading, and unloading of product.
• Read and assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Sort and place materials on racks or shelves according to date received.
• Assist agencies picking up their orders by loading product into vehicles using material handling equipment.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and forklift equipment to load/unload freight up to 50 pounds.
