Quality Employment Service, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a fast-paced food manufacturing site.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, inventory tracking, and order preparation in a sub-zero environment while upholding food safety and quality standards. The role requires experience with warehouse operations, ERP systems, and shipping procedures, plus ability to operate pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in sub-zero freezers and cold-storage areas.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and FDA/USDA food storage regulations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software, ERP systems, and shipping procedures.

Responsabilités

• Receive raw ingredients and packaging materials and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming trailers for proper temperature, cleanliness, and signs of pests before unloading.
• Verify lot numbers and expiration dates to maintain FIFO inventory rotation.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
• Safely operate electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and ERP systems.
• Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Assist with identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with team members and logistics personnel to maintain efficient shipping and receiving operations.
• Follow all applicable safety, food quality, and warehouse procedures.
