Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Receiver/Checker to verify incoming shipments, record counts, and ensure damage-free merchandise is received in correct quantities.

You will examine manifests, invoices, and orders, input data into the warehouse system, and support inventory accuracy through cycle counting. This is a full-time role with a focus on accuracy and safety in a multi-temperature warehouse.

Qualifications

• Specialized Knowledge: Ability to complete Receiving Certification.
• Special Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; safety is required.
• Show reliability and maintain satisfactory attendance; ability to maintain required productivity and use MHE.
• Physical abilities: capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, bending and walking in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.
• Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
• Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting.
• Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices.
• Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving; verify inbound freight against PO and BOM.
