Job summary

Renewyx is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for its cold storage division. You will lead cost estimating and preconstruction strategy on nationwide projects, coordinating with clients and design teams to deliver competitive, well-scoped proposals for refrigerated facilities.

Hybrid work model; Chicago preferred, with Sacramento, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta also considered. Ideal candidates have GC estimating experience, design-build background, and strong value-engineering instincts to support

Qualifications

Experience estimating construction projects for a general contractor.
Design-build experience and strong value-engineering instincts.
Comfort running bid packages, RFPs, and subcontractor negotiations end to end.
Cold storage, food and beverage, or industrial/distribution project experience.
Familiarity with refrigeration systems, insulated panel construction, or food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead cost estimating and preconstruction strategy on cold storage and temperature-controlled projects nationwide.
Build accurate, competitive proposals across every phase of design, work directly with clients and design teams on refrigeration and thermal envelope decisions, and hand off clean, well-scoped estimates to the field team.
