Job summary

Renewyx is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for their national cold storage and temperature-controlled division. You will lead cost estimating and preconstruction strategy on refrigerated distribution center projects nationwide, working with clients and design teams to develop clean, well-scoped estimates for handoff to the field.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating construction projects for a general contractor.
• Design-build experience with strong value-engineering instincts.
• Comfort running bid packages, RFPs, and subcontractor negotiations end to end.
• Cold storage, food & beverage, or industrial/distribution project experience.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems and insulated panel construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimating and preconstruction strategy on cold storage and temperature-controlled projects nationwide.
• Build accurate, competitive proposals across design phases.
• Work with clients and design teams on refrigeration and thermal envelope decisions.
• Hand off clean, well-scoped estimates to the field team.
• Support bid packages and negotiations end to end.
• Contribute to a growing GC platform with a national project portfolio.
