Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Cold Storage Design Manager to oversee the design of refrigerated warehouses, freezers, coolers, and food processing facilities. You will guide projects from concept through construction while coordinating architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial cold storage design or management, strong leadership and project management skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial cold storage design or management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Knowledge of IBC, IECC, ASHRAE, and fire/life safety standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of cold storage facilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and civil disciplines.
• Review construction documents for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
• Coordinate design activities with estimating, project management, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical direction on insulated building systems and energy efficiency.
