Job summary

FreshDirect is hiring for a Freezer Inventory Control Associate based in the Bronx. You will ensure accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and support all inventory processes in a fast-paced, cold environment.

You will investigate discrepancies and validate expiration dates while using SAP WM and related systems. This role requires strong math, basic computer skills, and the ability to work weekends and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong math and basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn SAP (Warehouse Management System).
• Clear English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Able to perform physical tasks in cold environments and lift heavy items.
• Follow processes, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cycle counts.
• Enter data and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies from multiple departments.
• Identify and resolve issues with shorted products.
• Check and document product expiration dates.
• Perform physical and systemic scrap for expiration, quality, or damage.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems and mobile equipment as needed.
• Work in cold environments (around 38°F).
• Work weekends, holidays, and overnight or early shifts.
