Job summary

DFA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform various receiving, storing, moving, and shipping tasks within a warehouse and refrigerated environment. You will read production schedules and customer orders to determine items to be moved and distributed, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in warehouse roles; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or license may include forklift or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks; move items to racks or bins by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and stock rotation in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions or work orders and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check shipment documents and product cleanliness before loading.
• Use computer to scan/enter inventories and maintain records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
