Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter in Corona, CA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and pay is $19 per hour. You must be willing to work in freezer environments and thrive in a fast-paced setting with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include counting physical inventory, reconciling records, generating reports, and maintaining inventory integrity. The role requires basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or RF devices.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must be willing to work in a freezer environment (freezer environments can range from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C). Freezer jackets are provided)
• Knowledge of inventory software (AS400, Oracle, etc.)
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Microsoft Office experience
• Intermediate knowledge/experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; creating total inventory records.
• Comparing inventories to office records and computing figures from records.
• Verifying clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigating discrepancies.
• Monitoring inventory rotations and making recommendations as needed.
• Preparing reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Preparing list of depleted items and recommending survey of defective/unusable items.
• Reviewing and investigating daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintaining shrink at or below company standard.
• Understanding overall business and departments in how they impact inventory and its integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
