Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to perform counts of physical inventory and improve efficiency in warehouse processes. You will count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies to provide accurate inventory records and support quality assurance in warehousing.

Responsibilities include tallying counts, reconciling discrepancies, monitoring rotations, and preparing inventories and reports while adhering to safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work scheduled hours including overtime.
• Ability to lift 60-90 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; creating total inventory records.
• Comparing inventories to office records and computing figures from records.
• Verifying clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigating discrepancies.
• Monitoring inventory rotations and making recommendations as needed.
• Preparing reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviewing and investigating daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintaining shrink at or below company standard.
• Understanding overall business and departments in how they impact inventory and its integrity.
