Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter in Hayward, CA. You will perform physical counts and maintain accurate inventory records to support efficient distribution.

Role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a freezer environment. You may lift 10–90 lbs and operate RF scanners and inventory software daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or RF devices.
• Able to work the scheduled/assigned times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift (10–90 lbs).
• Willingness to work in a freezer environment (freezer jackets provided).
• Knowledge of inventory software such as AS400 or Oracle.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Microsoft Office experience; intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create total inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures.
• Verify clerical computations against physical count and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Review and investigate daily reports directed by the Auditor.
