Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely handle receipt, storage, and shipment of food products in our temperature-controlled facilities. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred) and 3 months of related experience. Overtime, weekend shifts, and a strong attention to detail are valued as part of our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using forklifts.
• Stack and store merchandise and prepare orders for shipment.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance while operating equipment (various forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform additional duties such as inventory and battery changes as needed.
