Job summary

Sysco in Hampshire Township, IL, seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, depal, receiving, put-away, and replenishments, ensuring accuracy and safety.

You will operate MHE such as reach forklifts, inspect products for damage, report issues, and follow PWMs and safety rules to minimize shrink and injuries. Candidates should have forklift experience and the ability to work in cold environments.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and ability to operate MHE safely.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification on material handling equipment or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Follow tasking to transport pallets and move product safely between staging areas.
• Put away product using material handling equipment, primarily reach forklift.
• Inspect product for shortages, damage or deterioration and report to supervisor.
• Replenish product to pallet or slot from reserve locations following PWMs.
• Ensure pallets are secured and the workflow supports accurate staging and loading.
• Operate MHE safely and maintain daily inspections; follow PWMs and safety rules.
