Job summary

Flying Food Group seeks a Storeroom Clerk to join our food-manufacturing team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role prepares orders from worksheets, manages storage areas, and enforces FIFO to maintain product freshness.

You will perform receiving tasks, rotate stock, and assist with inventory counts in a cold environment while supporting a 24/7 operation. Excellent teamwork and basic Excel skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare production inventory orders based on daily needs.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working in a cold environment.
• Bilingual skills are helpful in a busy kitchen storage area.
• Food service experience and warehouse/storeroom background preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production inventory orders to stock station attendants.
• Perform receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors.

• Stock freezer, cold room and dry goods.
• Maintain inventory warehouse locations in a clean, organized manner.

Salary Range: $17.75/hr

We are seeking Storeroom Clerk to join the team. This position will be responsible for preparing orders according to worksheets, help organize coolers, freezers, and storage rooms according to FIFO.

Essential Functions

• Prepare production inventory orders to stock station attendants
• Performs receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors
• Inspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness
• Stocks freezer, cold room and dry goods
• Maintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean, organized manner
• Pulls orders for decant
• Rotates inventory to ensure FIFO (first in first out)
• Conducts physical inventory counts and count sheets
• Performs other duties as needed
• Record temperatures of carts to ensure HACCP compliance
• Work in a cold environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, any day of the week
• Competent to work independently within area of expertise
• Ability to solve inventory related problems
• Deal with a variety of issues relating to storeroom inventory levels and production orders
• Must be able to function within a team environment.
• Performs tasks under general supervision.

• Desired experience is 1-5 years warehouse or storeroom experience
• Knowledge of Food Industry quality and sanitation standards and requirements
• High school level written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of integrity and openness in reporting responsibilities
• Understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically in Excel

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has non-supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a food-manufacturing environment. This role routinely encounters varying temperatures.
