Job summary

Americold is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance across the warehouse, including doors, dock levelers, roofing, sprinkler systems, and HVAC.

You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, inspect equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records in a cold-storage environment. A high school diploma and 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of various equipment used in maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and adjustments on doors, dock levelers, sprinkler systems, and electrical components.
• Maintain roofing, HVAC, and safety systems and inspect equipment for OSHA compliance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and test equipment performance.
• Handle external grounds maintenance and respond to on-call security alarms as needed.
• Work flexible shifts and comply with safety regulations.
