Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a maintenance technician in New Jersey to perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the warehouse, including doors, dock levelers, freezers, sprinkler systems, roofing, and HVAC.

You will inspect equipment for OSHA compliance, keep preventive maintenance records, and respond to security alarm calls. Flexible shifts and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.
• Ability to use instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges for testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and adjustments on doors, dock levelers, freezer doors, sprinkler systems, and electrical components.
• Maintain roofing systems and HVAC systems.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure OSHA and operational standards compliance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and respond to security alarm calls.
• Perform routine maintenance on external equipment and grounds including snow removal and painting.
• Work flexible shifts including on-call assignments and housekeeping duties.
