Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH is seeking an Experienced Cold Forming Header Operator on 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm). Pay starts at $37.07/hour plus a $1.25 shift differential, totaling $38.32/hour.

You will set up and operate solid and open die headers, thread rollers, perform dimensional inspections and monitor material flow to maintain production quality. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with cold heading machines, tooling knowledge, and the ability to suggest tooling

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer experience with Cold Heading machines and tooling.
• Able to suggest tooling for new types of work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate solid and open die headers and related equipment.
• Set up and operate thread rollers and other heading equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspections and monitor material flow.
• Interpret surface defects and maintain production quality.
• Master Cold Forming Trimming Operations and ensure production integrity.
