Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for full-time COLD FOOD (SALAD) positions at 1910 Rosemont Drive, San Angelo, TX 76909. Join our campus team where you are valued and empowered to make a difference.

You will cut deli meats and vegetables, prepare sandwiches and salads using a slicing machine, and maintain sanitation per HACCP standards. Prior knife skills and kitchen experience are required; benefits include health and wellness programs and Instapay through the One @Work app.

Qualifications

• Prior knife skills and kitchen experience are required.
• Experience with deli/cold food prep is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters.
• Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
• Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards.
• Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following guidelines.
• Cleans and maintains preparation and serving areas to HACCP standards.
• Operates slicing machine to desired thickness.
• Maintains sanitation and safety requirements.
