Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Aurora, Colorado. Under general supervision, you will accurately select products in the warehouse while preparing them for shipping. Responsibilities include assembling orders, operating electric pallet jacks, and maintaining safety protocols.

Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old and having relevant experience, with the capacity to lift heavy products and work in extreme temperatures. Preferred qualifications involve experience operating forklifts and a solid work history.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders and place on pallets in proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate electric pallet jack to transport product.
• Report any damage of merchandise or equipment.
• Perform daily equipment checks.
• Assist in facility clean-up.
