Rich Products Corporation, a family-owned food company, seeks a Material Handler to manage shipping, receiving and transport of packaging, ingredients and finished goods. The role requires forklift operation, adherence to GMPs, and ability to work in a cold environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math/computer skills, and 1+ year material handling experience. The facility emphasizes safety and accuracy in deliveries and inventory counts.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• One year or more material handling experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Be able to regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.

Mansioni

• Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of PPE.
• Follows all GMPs and maintains an orderly and clean work area.
• Maintain forklifts by daily inspection of batteries, water levels, lights, horn, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beeps, etc.
• Verify deliveries/discrepancies by inspecting materials against delivery receipts.
• Enter necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the computer system.
• Organize/rotate old materials with new.
• Housekeeping: remove/fix dirty, torn, hanging, broken items daily.
• Assist management with inventory balances through cycle counts.
• Label open/partial ingredient and packaging.
• Check production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients.
• Perform all other warehouse and freezer duties.
• Must be able to operate all forklift equipment.
