Job summary

OSI INDUSTRIES, LLC is seeking a material handler to move raw materials and finished goods between production areas, storage and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift. This on-site role requires adherence to safety, food safety, and GMPs in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidate has 0-1 years of related experience, a High School Diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work can be in a manufacturing plant with noise, extreme temperatures, and powered equipment.
• May require lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Move finished products from the production line to storage and to the freezer/docks as needed.
• Offload delivered raw materials and organize them according to facility specs.
• Stack and organize pallets; maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty pallets and waste pallets from department.
• Follow safety, food safety, GMPs and all policies; learn and apply safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
