Job summary

Classic Salads is seeking a dependable Forklift Driver to join our Shipping and Receiving team in Yuma, AZ. The role involves operating a forklift, handling product and materials, and ensuring top food safety standards in a cold environment.

You will follow GMP policies, complete required forklift training, and report any safety issues or injuries to management. Regular duties include keeping the workspace clean and maintaining proper inventory rotation while adhering to overtime and shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift license required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Classic Salads Food Safety and GMP policies.
• Complete Classic Salads Standard Forklift Training Procedures.
• Use proper lifting techniques and handle boxes safely.
• Report all deficiencies to management.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays if necessary.
• Move product and materials manually as required.
• Report injuries and incidents promptly.
• Maintain attention to detail and communicate with supervision.
• Keep organic and conventional products separated in storage.
• FIFO rotation and accurate paperwork.
