Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. in Lumberton, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support facility operations. You will unload and load trailers, verify pallet stacking, and ensure product integrity in a cold storage environment.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, working in temperatures from +50°F to -30°F, and operating forklifts, scanners, and other warehouse equipment. You will contribute to safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers, verify proper product stacking and that product is not mixed on pallets.
• Ensure customer product is accounted for, free of infestation, and within acceptable temperature range before storage.
• Identify damaged product and report shortages/overages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories to ensure safekeeping of customer’s product.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with correct lot numbers and locations.
• Stack product to build pallets and secure them with tape or stretch-wrap.
