Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Grand Island, NE. You will ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and basic forklift experience. This position involves standing for long shifts, complying with safety policies, and supporting inventory and packing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
• Stack, store, pick, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
