Job summary

Green Rabbit, part of Vistar and Performance Food Group, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our Whitestown, Indiana facility. This 1st shift role involves operating forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment to move product safely and efficiently.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 5:30pm. You will work in a multi-temperature environment, uphold GMP standards, and contribute to a reliable distribution process in support of America's food supply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate slots on storage racks and place pallets with forklift.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to orders.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect pallets for damage and move with pallet jack or forklift.
• Perform safety checks and keep the area clean.
• Complete required paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
• Must be able to work Sundays.
• Follow safety policies and GMP guidelines.
