Job summary

Vistar’s Green Rabbit division in Whitestown, Indiana, is hiring a Forklift Operator on 1st shift to support our cold-chain distribution.

You will operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck and other material handling equipment, move freight, replenish pick slots, and maintain safety and GMP standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with benefits including health, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to repeatedly lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck and other material handling equipment.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Maintain safety and GMP standards and follow company policies.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Complete paperwork and conduct end-of-shift checklists.
• Must be able to work Sundays.
