Job summary

Green Rabbit, part of Vistar, is seeking a Forklift Operator on 1st shift at our Whitestown, Indiana facility. You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment to move goods through the warehouse while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include locating storage slots, replenishing pick slots, rotating stock, and performing pre/post-shift checks. A High School Diploma/GED and 6+ months of warehouse work are required; Sundays shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer and dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and position pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to the next day's work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspect empty pallets for damage and move pallets to the proper storage area.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions promptly.
