Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Drayage specialist in our Cold Storage facility to join the Freight Brokerage team. You will deliver exceptional service to clients and carriers, leveraging deep knowledge of our products and port operations to contribute to efficient, reliable logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrable expertise in Drayage and port operations.
• Proven track record in Logistics/Trucking and brokerage.
• Strong self-starter with minimal on-site supervision.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with broker platforms/TMS and online carrier tools.
• Knowledge of pricing and market analyses for drayage and OTR.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain carrier relationships focusing on drayage.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues related to shipments.
• Maintain regular communication with carriers and leadership.
• Track and trace shipments daily to ensure on-time delivery.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments efficiently.
• Assist pricing strategies through carrier negotiations and market analyses.
