Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Coiler Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (12:00AM–8:00AM, Mon–Fri) at the Duchaine Facility in New Bedford, MA. Base pay is $23.19/hr with a $0.75/hr shift differential; recruiting bonus up to $1,000 is offered.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, quality checks, and maintaining safety and paperwork. Applicants should have a High School diploma (preferred but not required), basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in loud environments.
• Proficiency in basic math and following written/verbal instructions in English.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and JFA.
• Ensure production materials are available.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable/unacceptable product quality per requirements.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and managers to meet goals.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
