Job summary

Atkore is hiring a Machine Operator (Coiler) for the 3rd shift in New Bedford, MA. The role involves operating machinery for coiling and packing, with a $23.19/hr base wage plus $0.75/hr shift differential. A recruiting bonus may apply, with up to $1,000 in total bonuses.

The successful candidate will read production standards, ensure materials are available, and perform checks to meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality per requirements.
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers to meet goals.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
