Job summary

BAC in Milford, DE is seeking a Coil Operator III to contribute to coil manufacturing operations. This role focuses on safe production, quality adherence, and readiness to flex to other stations as volume dictates, supporting the team with maintenance documentation and cross-functional tasks.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong safety awareness, ability to read blueprints, operate material handling equipment, and perform in-process inspections while supporting ISO standards and 5S practices

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and perform basic fractional calculations.
• Competent in reading blueprints and reference drawings.
• Safely use power tools such as Sawzall and grinder.
• Know how to correctly fill out In Process Inspections and paperwork.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, lift trucks and jib cranes.
• Knowledge of safety requirements associated with tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform coil manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, cleanup, and prep for shipment per specs.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain equipment; perform routine inspections and maintenance docs.
• Perform tubing prep and coil assembly activities and related tasks.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and transport materials and finished products using lifting equipment.
• Ensure product quality via in-process inspections and defect escalation.
• Own personal and team safety by following PPE and safety practices.
• Follow ISO requirements, standard work instructions, and 5S practices.
• Meet/exceed production goals and flex across production functions.
• Develop technical skills and cross-functional capabilities for flexibility.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
