BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) seeks an Operations Shift Manager to lead second and third shift manufacturing for Custom Coil and Assembly. You will drive safety, productivity, schedule adherence, and cost reduction while promoting continuous improvement and high-quality output.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, 6–8 years in manufacturing with 3 years in leadership, and strong Lean/analytical capabilities for a fast-paced plant in Dayton, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
• 6-8 years’ experience in high production manufacturing with 3 years managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational abilities.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift plant manufacturing operations including sheet metal, fabrication, welding, coil fabrication and assembly.
• Drive production schedules by scheduling workforce and resources.
• Meet productivity, cost and quality targets per fiscal plan.
• Promote lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, equipment maintenance and on-time delivery.
• Develop supervisory team and employees, and manage budgets.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with EH&S, QA, and Supply Chain.
