BAC is seeking a Welder II for the Coil assembly line in Milford, DE. The role requires working with intermediate to advanced welding processes to meet engineering requirements while maintaining safety and quality. The Welder II may train junior welders and support multiple stations as needed.

The position emphasizes independence, adherence to lean principles, and the ability to adapt to different workstations, with emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG and oxy-acetylene welding.
• Ability to read drawings and welding symbols.
• 6G certification preferred or obtainable.
• Operate overhead/JIB cranes with certification.

Responsibilities

• Owns personal and team safety and follows safety rules.
• Perform intermediate to advanced welding to meet engineering specs.
• Flex to TSU, Fin Coil, Stainless Steel Coils as needed.
• Complete paperwork and data entry for the department.
• Interpret traveler tickets and move products to staging area.
• Perform daily equipment checks and safety procedures.
• Sign-off primary maintenance procedure checklist weekly.
• Provide training to junior welders as assigned.
• Follow ISO policies and standard work instructions.
• Maintain 5S in the department and support waste reduction.
