Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is seeking a dependable mattress assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble mattresses per established work instructions using pneumatic tools, including HMB units, and apply upholstery layers, foam encasing, and final assembly steps to finished products.

Ideal candidates inspect components and completed units for flaws, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to efficient production in a fast-paced plant environment in the United States.

• Experience using pneumatic tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to inspect components and finished units for flaws or defects.
• Willingness to follow established work instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mattresses per established work instructions using pneumatic tools.
• Assemble Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine and apply upholstery layers.
• Perform foam encasing and final mattress assembly steps.
• Inspect components and finished products for quality and defects.

What You’ll Do:

Assemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns). This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine; application of various, specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units; foam-encased pocketed coil units; application of specified upholstery layers; foam encasing and final mattress assembly.

How You’ll Do It:

Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

What You’ll Bring:

Inspects mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects.
