Silgan Containers Manufacturing Corporation seeks a production operator to support coil line operations in a robust manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and accurate documentation while maintaining production flow and quality.

You will operate and monitor coil handling equipment, perform quality checks, and assist maintenance as needed. Training in SPC tools and waste handling is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and monitor coil handling and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic process data and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Operate coil handling equipment, lubricators, cuppers, ironers, trimmers and Schneider.
• Set up coils on Upender, Coil Car and Uncoiler as needed.
• Competent in basic SPC, Gainseeker, Protraq and interpretation of SPC charts.
• Perform quality checks and adjust machines as needed.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Document any out of gate/spec conditions and inform Supervisor.
• Clear jams and maintain production flow to reduce downtime.
• Maintain clean work areas; follow Cleaning List tasks.
• Participate in OpEx initiatives and audits.
• Assist Mechanics with repairs or maintenance.
• Report recurring equipment malfunctions or production problems.
• Feed cans back into the line from recyclable areas.
• Handle hazardous material and waste properly.
• Monitor Schneider filter paper and replace as required.
• Perform secondary jobs as instructed by Supervisor.
• Attend safety, environmental and general informational trainings.
• Follow all plant safety rules.
