Job summary

Precoat Metals is seeking a Production Worker to support multiple plant areas, from coating lines to packaging. You may be assigned tasks across the plant and will help maintain smooth production flow.

The role requires reading and following schedules, safe operation of material-handling equipment, and the ability to work up to 12 hours on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The starting wage is competitive for the region.

Qualifications

• As a selected candidate, you must read and comprehend schedules and SOPs.
• Effective communication with team members is essential.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts and hand tools.
• Available to work up to 12 hours on rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and transports bare coils and maintains flow to lines using cranes, forklifts, and upenders.
• Trims, packages and bands finished coils per customer specs with proper materials.
• Inspects coils and reports defects.
• Reads production schedules and records weights and order numbers.
• Loads/unloads coils from trucks as required.
