Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring for a Brazer I - Coils on the 2nd shift at our South Chesterfield, VA site. This onsite role involves brazing copper assemblies, reading blueprints, and preparing coil packages to specification.

You will operate brazing equipment, cut piping, and perform safety checks while maintaining a clean, efficient work area in a production environment. Prior brazing experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months brazing experience or technical brazing certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
• Experience with soldering, welding, or related metal joining processes.
• Experience with refrigerated display cases or HVAC systems is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Use brazing torch to braze copper to copper, brass, aluminum or other metals.
• Read and comprehend work orders and blueprints; identify part numbers.
• Braise coil assemblies/packages to defined standards ensuring quality.
• Cut metal piping to specified lengths.
• Ensure brazing equipment is safe and functioning; report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
