Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring a Brazer I - Coils on the 2nd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. This onsite manufacturing role braze copper and other metals, reading work orders and blueprints to assemble coil components.

Responsibilities include brazing, cutting piping, equipment safety checks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Qualified applicants will have basic brazing experience (six months+), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with refrigeration equipment or HVAC terms; the

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months brazing experience or equivalent certification.
• Ability to read measurements and work orders and identify part numbers.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment or HVAC systems preferred.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Braze coil assemblies to defined standards.
• Read blueprints and identify part numbers.
• Cut metal piping to specified lengths.
• Perform equipment safety checks and maintain clean work area.
• Maintain quality to established standards.
• Work in a production environment with temperature and noise variations.
