Job summary
HPS Micron Group LLC, part of the Hammond Power Solutions network, is seeking a Coil Operator I to join the Coil Assembly Team in Sterling, IL. You will operate winding machines and use precision measuring tools to produce high-quality transformers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
The role requires reading BOMs and OMS, performing quality checks, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to 5S and PPE standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments to within specified tolerances.
- Capable of reading Bills of Materials (BOM) and Order Management Sheets (OMS).
- Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality transformers according to established standards and timelines.
- Utilize precision tools to ensure accurate measurements and product specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished work and maintain safety standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and perform preventive maintenance when necessary.
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate production status.
