Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Cognitive AI Engineer for our largest PRIME contract, with a top-secret clearance requirement.

You will join a team of analysts and engineers to craft tools for mission-critical infrastructure analysis, applying AI/ML to accelerate data processing and improve engineering workflows. You will design full-stack applications, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
• 12 years of experience in System Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML tools to accelerate data analysis and engineering solution development.
• Experience with Kafka and streaming analytics.
• Working knowledge of relational databases.
• Exposure to dataflow, data science, or mission analytics (desired).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications to support mission-critical infrastructure analysis.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques to accelerate data analysis, prototype solutions, and improve engineering workflows.
• Develop ETL workflows to reconcile requested and deployed infrastructure, identify discrepancies, and support proactive alerting.
• Build scalable, reliable data ingestion and processing capabilities to support infrastructure analysis.
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers to integrate data sources and visualize actionable results.

Salary range: $187,000 - $264,000
