Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Cedar Rapids plant is seeking a CoGeneration Power Plant Operator. The role focuses on safe operation of material handling systems (coal, ash silo, limestone), routine maintenance, data entry into weigh systems, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will operate heavy equipment, collect samples, and perform TPM/LOTO procedures while supporting production goals and continuous improvement in a high-density plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supports unloading coal and lime material and loader operations.
• Enters truck weights and data into ADM weigh systems; operates heavy equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Follows safety procedures and GMP to maintain cleanliness and compliance.
