Job summary

ADM Co-Generation plant in Des Moines, IA is hiring for Power Plant Utility/Operator. The role supports safety, quality and operational integrity on a 12‑hour rotating swing shift.

Starting wage is $28.93/hour with a potential higher rate up to $31.12/hour plus a $1.20/hour shift differential, with a $1500 sign-on bonus. Primary duties include shift operation, equipment checks, water treatment tests, documentation and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of power plant employment or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Basic math, science and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and environments with PPE.
• Able to stand long periods, climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to operate heavy equipment with training (cranes, forklifts, skid-steers).
