Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Power Plant Operator to maintain and operate the cogeneration plant and to complete assigned work orders. The role covers HVAC systems, alarms (Direct Digital Control), Emergency Generator Systems, and boiler operations in an industrial healthcare setting.

The position requires reading blueprints, using hand tools, and complying with safety and regulatory standards. A high school diploma plus vocational training or 5 years related experience is expected;

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent plus formal trade/vocational school training or five (5) years related experience.
• Completion of apprenticeship program preferred.
• Completes competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate cogeneration plant and provide maintenance services for assigned work orders.
• Perform skilled maintenance on HVAC systems, alarms (DDC), steam and hot water boilers, and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and prepare material takeoffs; adhere to code and regulatory requirements.
