Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor in Chicago to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and ensure high-quality beverage and food preparation. You will maintain guest focus, supervise cash handling, safety, and standards while fostering a warm, community-focused environment.

The role emphasizes attendance, flexible hours, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a collaborative team, in a fast-paced retail setting in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security.
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the Starbucks experience welcoming for the community.
• Coach and delegate tasks to team members to ensure smooth shift operations.
