Job summary

Sur La Table in North Bethesda is hiring a Coffee Specialist to be the in-store expert for coffee, sharing product knowledge and brewing techniques while delivering best-in-class service. You will demonstrate espresso machines, grinders, and coffee makers, and personalize recommendations for customers.

The role includes conducting classes, driving sales, and ensuring an engaging store experience with accurate inventory and food-safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of employment.
• Passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing methods.
• Ability to create engaging, hands-on experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture with educational experiences.
• Lead coffee brewing demonstrations and educate on techniques and equipment.
• Assist in driving sales of coffee products and accessories.
