Job summary

Abita Roasting Company is seeking a dependable Coffee Equipment Technician to service and repair commercial coffee gear at customer locations across the Northshore and Southshore. You’ll travel between calls and, between visits, repair and test equipment at the warehouse.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50–75 lbs, comfort with using tools, independent work ethic, and prior coffee/tea equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between customer sites.
• Experience with coffee/tea equipment and troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable handling tools and equipment safety.
• Able to work independently and arrive on time at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial coffee equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair and replace components as needed.
• Travel to customer locations across the Northshore and Southshore.
• Keep accurate service records and communicate completed work.

Abita Roasting Company is looking for a dependable, hands-on Coffee Equipment Technician to keep our customers’ coffee and tea equipment running properly. You’ll travel to hotels, restaurants, churches, offices, and other customer locations to troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment when issues arise.

Between service calls, you’ll work at our warehouse repairing, testing, and preparing backup equipment for future installations.

What You’ll Do:

• Install and service commercial coffee equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Make repairs and replace parts as needed
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Northshore and Southshore
• Keep service records and communicate completed work

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable working with tools and troubleshooting equipment
• Able to lift to 50-75 lbs.
• Able to work independently
• Experience with working on coffee/ tea equipment
• Professional and respectful when working at customer locations
• Dependable and on time
• Previous coffee/tea equipment experience required
