Responsible for reviewing and promptly filling guests' orders for the shift, handling food in a safe manner, and ensuring the work area is always clean and neat. Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient guest service to guests and team members.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, cafe latte, cappuccino, and others.
2. Greets all guests with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops rapport by learning their names, favorite drinks, and food items.
3. Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
4. Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment, and maintaining supplies for the coffee bar.
5. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
6. Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
7. Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing the proper amount, and giving correct change.
8. Accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to procedures.
9. Maintains integrity of financial controls and responsibilities.
10. Projects professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
11. Participates in publicity photos and promotes casino events and programs.
12. Provides personalized service and uses guest names.
13. Resolves service problems following guidelines.
14. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and encourages others to do the same.
15. Performs duties of Food Server, Cashier/Host, Steward, or Server Assistant as needed in F&B outlets.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Must be 17 years of age.
• Ability to read, write legibly, understand, and speak English.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Availability to work required schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by the Team Member Handbook.
• Proven performance and reliability in prior employment.

Preferred

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior cash handling and register experience.
• Knowledge of coffee ingredients and preparation techniques.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands

• Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Reach above/below shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while preparing beverages.
• Stand and walk up to eight hours.
• Operate in stressful situations.
• Work in constricted areas, tolerate smoke, noise, bright lights.
• Work at a fast pace in crowded/noisy environment.
• Meet medium work requirements: exert 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently.
