Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote, 40-hour workweek. The role emphasizes education across coding processes and integrity reviews.

Candidates should have recent coding experience and a specialty coding background, plus a coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA. You will partner with Coding Leadership, IT, and Revenue Cycle to drive improvements.

Qualifications

Schedule Details/Additional Information: Will support

Educator/Trainer role supporting PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams.

Desired experience: Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.

Specialty coding experience preferred, including surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialty areas.

Schedule

Full-time, fully remote (Monday-Friday) with a flexible schedule.

Certification required

Coding Certification issued by one of the following certifying bodies: American Academy of Coders (AAPC), or American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
