Job summary

Advocate Health in the United States is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. This full-time, fully remote role emphasizes production coding experience and specialized coding knowledge. Certification in coding (AAPC or AHIMA) is required, with a flexible schedule and nationwide remote work approved for many states. The role reports to the Enterprise Revenue Cycle - Mid Revenue Cycle Education & Enablement.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred, including surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Working in collaboration with Coding Leadership, IT leadership, Org development, Revenue Cycle leadership, Compliance leadership etc.

Schedule Details/Additional Information: Will support

Schedule

Full-time, fully remote (Monday-Friday) with a flexible schedule.

Certification required

Coding Certification issued by one of the following certifying bodies: American Academy of Coders (AAPC), or American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
