Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote, Monday–Friday role. The position emphasizes collaboration with coding and IT leadership to advance education initiatives within the Revenue Cycle.

Recent production coding experience and specialty coding knowledge are preferred; certification by AAPC or AHIMA is required. The role is full-time, remote, and nationwide in scope.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred across listed areas (surgical, anesthesia, etc.).
• Certification required (AAPC or AHIMA).

Schedule Details/Additional Information: Will support

Educator/Trainer role supporting PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams.

Desired experience: Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.

Specialty coding experience preferred, including surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialty areas.

Schedule

Full-time, fully remote (Monday-Friday) with a flexible schedule.

Certification required

Coding Certification issued by one of the following certifying bodies: American Academy of Coders (AAPC), or American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
